well, i guess someone has to start. as the first does this make me famous or foolish?

i am mom of three 5,8 and 10. we learn at home and abroad rather than organized schooling. i have lived in worcester for nine years. i grew up in the midwest. i am an artist. i create surface design on fabric as well as write.

this forum could be pretty cool. we can make it what we want. i don't frequent boards like this but i'll check in on this one as often as i can.

there are plenty of good topics of discussion. i tend to sit back and listen.

hey joanne, thanks for kicking us off! we're a couple days behind on our plans to do outreach, but we'll be getting started with a whole bunch of flyering this week, so i think we'll start to see more folks showing up.

Hi Everyone!

thanks for posting this to our other list, Joanne! It's taken me a couple of days to get on here but I made it. So glad to have a place to connect with other moms in the area!

Hi Joanne,

"Wacky"? - you're scaring me; I was looking for an orderly life...well, to find within myself :-) Should I panic?

Our Lydia was born here, in Worcester, at the Memorial Hospital, to be exact - what a sweet memories...
My husband Yakov and I are from Russia. I live in Worcester for almost 10 years , and Yakov - a bit longer.

Hope to meet you all guys somewhere some time.

hey, olga.
its been wacky for me because things always seems to be in flux. i am now at the point where constant metamorphosis is what i expect. its more fun that way, rather than fighting to get it to go ONE way. of course with three kids even imagining being in control of every little thing is hilarious. things would be much calmer and potentially steady with one.

where in russia did you grow up?

lydia was born at memorial hospital also.
i'm sure our paths will cross.
